Sun Body Lotion SPF 50
Sun Body Lotion SPF 50 is a water-resistant sunscreen that brings together the best of a nourishing, hydrating body lotion with broad-spectrum protection against the sun’s UVA and UVB rays.
Sun Body Lotion SPF 50 is dermatologically tested.
Effect:
Sunscreen should feel wonderful on the skin and be easy to apply. That is why we created Sun Body Lotion with an innovative formula that delivers optimal sun protection along with the care and moisture your skin craves in warm weather. While the skin is shielded from the sun’s rays, it is cared for by active natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Sea Buckthorn, Chamomile, and Cucumber Extract.
Scent:
The sunscreen carries a natural scent from the ingredients it is made with, combined with a subtle touch of Rudolph Care’s ecolabeled signature fragrance. Notes of Sea Buckthorn stand out and give the cream its own character. When working with natural ingredients, the scent of our products is as changeable as the nature they come from, which means you may notice new nuances from one time to the next.
Texture:
A light lotion that sinks in quickly and spreads easily – without feeling greasy, sticky, or leaving a white cast.
Certifications:
Sun Body Lotion is certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, ensuring care for both your health and the environment. The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is also your assurance that the product is coral-friendly. In addition, the product carries the Vegan Trademark. Read more about our certifications here.

How to use
Sun Body Lotion SPF 50
Be generous when using your sunscreen. Use plenty for optimal protection – a handful of Sun Body Lotion for the entire body 30 minutes before you go out in the sun.
We recommend dividing the amount into two applications. This way, you avoid missing a spot and ensure you apply a sufficient amount of sunscreen – remember the particularly exposed areas such as shoulders and neck. And your hands – many forget them.
Protect your face with Sun Face Cream, Sun Face Serum, and/or Sun Face Oil and exposed areas with Sun Stick or Sun Balm. Always remember to protect yourself more often rather than less, especially after being in the water, if you sweat, and/or dry yourself with a towel.
Sun Body Lotion Q&A
Yes, but we recommend that you reapply sun cream after swimming, if you sweat or if you dry yourself with a towel.
Sun cream may stain clothes and other items. Let the sun cream dry completely before you get dressed. The sun filter that protects against the sun’s UVA and UVB rays may in some instances cause discoloration. This can be avoided if you wait for a while after application of the product before getting dressed. Consider your choice of clothes and towels – perhaps leave your most delicate clothes, your silky white dress and white towels at home. You may also minimize the risk of staining if you wash your hands after application. If you should be unlucky, we recommend the following:
- Apply plenty of detergent to colored textiles directly onto the stain and let it work overnight – e.g. in a closed plastic bag. This makes the textile fibers expand to allow any discoloration to loosen.
- Wash your clothes according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Repeat the process 2-3 times, if required.
Whether you choose SPF 15, 30 or 50 depends on many things. According to official recommendations published by the Danish Health Authority, SPF 15 is enough in Denmark, but this very much depends on your skin type. If you have fair skin and you are intending to stay out in the sun for an extended period, we recommend you always protect yourself with SPF 30 or 50. We also recommend that you use a minimum of SPF 30 if you are travelling to areas in which the sun is stronger than in Denmark. Checking the UV index and finding out how strong the sun is in the areas where you may be travelling is always a good idea – and so is keeping updated on the intensity of the sun in Denmark.
