B Corp
Policies
At Rudolph Care, we insist on taking responsibility for the business we run. That applies to our products and their impact on people, the environment, and nature – and it applies just as much to our corporate practices.
As part of our work toward the global certification, B Corp, we have formulated the policies below.
Explore our policies
As part of our work with the global certification B Corp, we have defined a public purpose statement that clarifies the responsibility underpinning the way Rudolph Care conducts business. This Public Purpose Statement describes the concrete change we aim to create for both people and the environment, and how this is integrated into our strategy and business decisions.
At Rudolph Care, our purpose is to develop skincare with care for both people and the environment, while operating a business that takes responsibility for the world we are part of. Since 2009, our approach has been guided by the ambition to create products and make decisions that consider the health of people and nature, as well as future generations. “Since 2009 for generations to come” is our guiding principle and our promise to the world.
We work to reduce our environmental footprint across the entire value chain. Among other things, we do this by developing products that meet the requirements of the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. This certification applies a life cycle perspective, setting requirements for raw materials, production, packaging, use, and end of life. At the same time, the Nordic Swan Ecolabel helps protect human health through strict requirements for ingredients and documentation.
Our purpose is also reflected in our long-standing collaboration with the local community in Nazarezinho do Meruú in the Amazon and with our production partner in Belém, where we source the key ingredient for our products, the açai berry. Through our connection to the Amazon and our sourcing of açai, we work with respect for biodiversity and local conditions. This collaboration has existed since the founding of Rudolph Care in 2009, and over the years we have helped finance concrete improvements in the area based on requests from the local community.
The people who live and work in the Amazon are closely connected to nature and play an important role in preserving biodiversity and protecting the rainforest. Therefore, our support is locally rooted and developed in collaboration with the local community, our production partner, and NGO partners. In this way, we contribute to both improved local conditions and the long-term well-being of the forest.
The ambition to operate a responsible business is embedded in our strategy and forms the basis for decision-making across the company. This applies to product development, selection of certifications, partnerships, and our ongoing work to reduce our environmental impact.
At Rudolph Care, we work to ensure justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) across all parts of our business. Our commitment applies to internal policies, collaboration with customers and partners, and our engagement in the world around us.
We respect diversity in gender, age, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, and all other protected characteristics, and we support equal opportunities and inclusion for everyone. At the same time, we do not support views or behaviour that undermine the rights, safety, or well-being of others. We do not accept discrimination, bullying, or harassment of any kind. Everyone must be treated with respect.
We strive to embed our JEDI commitment throughout our business practices, where care, respect, and responsibility form the foundation of all our decisions and actions.
We are aware that bias can influence decisions and practices, and we continuously work to identify and address it so that our JEDI efforts are as inclusive and fair as possible.
Rudolph Care is committed to respecting all internationally recognised human rights, both in our own operations and across our value chain. This commitment is grounded in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Bill of Human Rights, and the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
We work to identify and strive to prevent and mitigate negative impacts on people that may be connected to our activities, products or business relationships, and we expect the same of our employees, suppliers and other business partners.
Anyone with concerns about potential or actual human rights impacts linked to Rudolph Care can raise them through our whistleblower channel without fear of retaliation.
Rudolph Care supports the global ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement. As part of our B Corp certification, we've developed a Climate Action Plan with concrete, measurable targets to reduce our climate impact.

Purpose
This policy is part of our B Corp commitment. It explains how Rudolph Care engages in public policy and lobbying, both directly and indirectly, and how we work to make sure such engagement is consistent with our environmental, social, and governance commitments.
Scope
The policy covers all our involvement in public policy and lobbying in Denmark and internationally, both direct and indirect. This includes:
- contact with public authorities and regulators
- participation in industry associations, coalitions, and similar collective initiatives
- work carried out on our behalf by external advisors or partners.
Principles
If Rudolph Care takes part in public policy or lobbying, we follow these principles:
- We only take positions that are consistent with our commitments to human rights, environmental protection, climate action, and responsible business conduct. We do not support positions that would weaken social, environmental, or governance standards.
- We base our positions on credible data, scientific evidence, and recognised international standards.
- We do not make political donations to parties, candidates, or campaigns. We do not give or accept gifts, hospitality, or other benefits that could create or appear to create undue influence.
- We follow international anti-corruption standards, with zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, kickbacks, and facilitation payments.
Industry associations and collective initiatives
Participation in industry associations and collective initiatives can count as indirect lobbying. When we take part, we:
- keep a written list of the associations and initiatives we are part of, with their public positions on human rights, environment, climate, and responsible business conduct
- review the list at least once a year against this policy
- raise concerns with the association where positions are not aligned with ours, and document the misalignments and the actions we take
- step back from continued participation if significant misalignment cannot be resolved through dialogue.
Governance
The Board of Directors approves this policy and reviews it at least every two years.
The CEO is responsible for putting the policy into practice and for the annual review of memberships.
The policy is available on our website, shared with employees during onboarding, and referenced when we engage external advisors or partners on these matters.
Rudolph Care does not currently engage in direct lobbying. If that changes, we will revise and expand this policy before such engagement starts.
Reporting concerns and breaches
Employees and other stakeholders can raise concerns about Rudolph Care’s lobbying conduct, including the positions of industry associations we are part of, through our whistleblower channel: https://rudolphcare.integrityl...;
Any suspected breach of this policy is reported to the CEO without undue delay. The CEO informs the Board and decides on next steps. Concerns and breaches are handled under our whistleblower policy, which protects people who raise issues in good faith from retaliation.
